Today I want to talk about something pretty important related to this blog, which is why I do not give out tips and advice on things like make, clothing and hair.
There is a very simple reason for this, It's that I don't show my face online!
Theres many reasons why I choose not to do this, main reason for my personal privacy, as even on my personal social media I don't show my face, but the other reason is because I like to disconnect my online persona from my real one, and one of the main ways I really make sure I can do this is by not posting my face on social media.
This doesn't mean i'm some fraud who doesnt do gal, I do, but since I don't post myself online, I've never felt it should be my place to advice people on how to and not to do certain things like hair and make. Everyone personally has their own goals when doing gal, with Gyaru being a subculture where make and hair and beauty are fundamental & required to your being as a gal, having some random anonymous gal who you can't even take reference from is unfair for gals who deserve proper and quality resources.
The reason I created this blog was not necessarily to guide people, I actually started this blog because when I was a baby gal and looking through gyaru magazines a few years ago, I found models I loved and wanted to take inspiration from, but I could never find english resources for them. In my internet life, I've dedicated many days and hours into researching facts and trivia making profiles and resources for non english speaking media for english speakers, so I wanted to do that for gal, as I saw other gals and gal bloggers, like my all time favourite and inspiration Gal Data Labs or Churikko/Daniela with her blog which I read often and her podcast which I'm still waiting to be updated.
So, if you are here for the discussions, facts, magazine scans and music recs and so much more I have planned, I hope to be able to post more for people who love this type of stuff. I'm also looking to cater to all types of gals, so I'll be posting even more about gal, even for the styles and magazine like ageha, agejo, hime and the brands like liz lisa and ma*rs and others that I'm actually not to interested in myself.
This is also a ps, if you are looking for advice, I'm also not very good at giving it, so I just really love to talk, so I made a whole blog for it, bye bye - Spacy
