If you have been following my since before I had 160(ish) followers you would know I'm a huge jpop wota. During the 2000s/2010's we had many instances of gyaru idols, not idols who simply cosplayed as gals, but idols who held popularity and influence in the community as gal celebs. Who are these celebs, and who are my fav gyaru idols?
I've been tweeting a lot about Buriteri a lot lately haven't I? ๐ Maybe I'll put some backbone into creating an entire blogpost about gonguro.... Recently I've been deliberating on what I should do with this blog, mainly due to mental burn out I was considering quitting blogging, but very recently while looking for mags online, I came across something that spiked my interest, and that was the magazine Kogyaru's cover being written in entirely english! For those who don't know too much about Kogyaru this may just seem weird, but for us who do this caused some widespread concern. After thinking about it more and more, I thought I would do some research, and compile it into a blog post. So, Welcome to Magazine Discussion Episode 4- Kogyaru!
